Thank you for the wonderful enchilada sauce recipe. Next time I make mine I will do it from scratch with this recipe, I have always used the canned enchilada sauce when making them at home.

That sauce looks great! Is it sad to say that peanut butter and banana sandwiches and gross fast food are the dishes that remind me of my childhood? No wonder I’ve become a food snob in my adult life. =)

These look amazing! My cousin’s boyfriend is from Mexico, maybe I could make this dish the next time they come over for dinner. I’d like to go all out with an authentic Mexican meal, but I have such little experience with Mexican recipes. Hopefully I can pull it off!

Oh that sauce looks very spicy!! 5 tsp of chili powder? must be really flavorful!! your family styled Enchiladas definitely looks much more enticing than the one I had in Austin grill… you are right, the sauce is the key!!!
ps, I fall in love with Mexican food too since I came here. Love that taco salad !!

What? You didn’t drink the margaritas as a young child? haha, yum.

What a great family tradition. These look so delicious, Bobby Flay style! I think the only meals that came close to this, which I grew up with, was my grandma’s lasagna, and my mother’s chicken cattiatore. So amazing.
