Hi Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Superbowl Weekend! I will be taking a little hiatus from the blog this week to get some Weekly Bite housekeeping in order. It is loooong over due and I just need to buckle down and get it done. On another note, Over a week ago I was sent a 3 Day Detox Juice Cleanse from Skinny Limits. Their products are organic, raw, and cold pressed. I am all about cleaning up my eating every now and again. I love my daily green smoothies and love ordering kale apple ginger juice from one of my favorite restaurants. I always advise clients to listen to their bodies, increase their fruits and veggies, and favor a lifestyle of moderation; but, I have always advised against a full juice cleanse. I have been giving this advice for years. Being a dietitian and having never done a juice cleanse before I thought it would be educational to give it a shot, that way I can give my honest full opinion of what a juice cleanse is and how I felt throughout the process. The first word that comes to my mind when describing my experience is ‘CHALLENGING’. I promise to go into full detail in a future post. Has my opinion changed? You will soon find out.
