Oh yum. I don’t eat the batter either because of the eggs. This, though, might not make it onto the baking sheet. I looove chocolate chip cookies.

Ok, two things about this post remind me of my childhood. I lived in Virginia for a year or two and my parents used to drag my brother and sister and I to D.C. to see the cherry blossoms (we were teenagers so we went kicking and screaming).

The cookies also remind me of my childhood making cookies with my grandmother. Your version might be a bit healthier!

I remember my FIRST spring in DC ever…I experienced the same exuberance that you had! And oh the cherry blossoms are amazing…when is the season again? Will you be going?

I love that cookbook – i make her cookies all of the time. I don’t really like carob either so I also swap out for semi-sweet or dark chocolate. I am SOO ready for spring too!
