Orange Pom-Pom Slushy {Kiddie Snack}

Man oh man is this good! I know the temperatures may seem a little chilly for a slushy, but when you’re tying to come up with creative ways to entertain and feed a kid, anything will do.

I’m a self-professed slushy lover. While I love a good 7-Eleven slushy, my all time favorite is a Sonic Cherry-Lime Slush. Every time I go home to Texas I make sure to get one.

Even though I’m dubbing this a kiddie snack (again) this slushy is my latest obsession. Not sure how these would turn out, I poured the slushy into two glasses (one for M and one for me). As soon as we started drinking them we stopped paying attention to each other. We had fallen into slushy land.

Here’s how easy these are to make:

In a food processor or blender, pour in three cups of ice, 1 cup pomegranate juice, and 3 tablespoons agave nectar.

Pulse away until the ice gets nice and slushy.

Pour into a small glass, insert cute straw, and top slushy with a little orange juice (all you need is a few tablespoons).

And there you have it. The perfect little homemade slushy 🙂

M LOVED it and consumed the entire glass while watching the adventures of Caillou.

    We are in the market for a new blender, we’ve been using the food processor for smoothies. You have any suggestions? Also thanks for the post, we love getting creative with iced drinks. These and straight up frozen blueberries are teething wonders. Hello molars!

      Hi Sam! My dream blender would be a Vita-Mix. Its on the pricey side, but its the best blender out there 🙂
