The Time Has Come…
To pack up the watering can….
M will be crushed.
The time has also come for me to officially become overwhelmed.
We areย moving across the country in 2 weeks. ย Being that I’ll be entering my 3rd trimester soon, I’ve been trying to take it easy and stay off my feet. That’s not the easiest thing when you have a two year old and an entire house to pack up. I even got a stern lecture from my doctor to stay off my feet. Luckily, the company that’s moving us will be packing up our entire house for us ๐
The packers will be coming sometime next week and the movers will be here the day after. To make life easier, M & I will be flying to Texas to spend time with family while Mr. Weekly Bite sees the movers off.
Another thing that will be affected is the amount of cooking I’ll be doing. The plan is to avoid buying anymore food and eat what we have. This means eating very boring, unbloggable meals. Sorry ๐
Good news is I’ve got some great guest posts planned! My blogging schedule will change a bit too. Blogging 5 times per week is my comfort zone, but with everything going on, its getting more and more difficult to keep up with that schedule. So if I don’t post a day or two ย here and there don’t worry, I’m still here ๐ My plan is to post at least 3 times per week until we get settled in our new home.
I’m still taking guest posts for the month of May/June. If you’re interested send me an email here ๐
Estela, best of luck to you. A lot of work ahead, especially being in your 3rd trimester! You daughter is precious. Hopefully she can entertain herself while you pack……wishful thinking huh! xo
Best of luck with the big move!
Thanks Marla ๐
you got this girl! at least you don’t have to do all of the packing and moving yourself ๐
Wow, I can’t believe the move is so soon. That is really exciting! Sounds like you have a good plan with the movers and staying with family.
Hang in there girl! It will be over soon and you’ll be all settled. ๐
Thanks Jessica ๐
Your Dr is right…as far as the unused food – donate it to a food bank and take a deduction on your taxes (like you need anymore this year)…this is good practice for 25 years from now when you become an empty nester (except at holidays)…good luck kids!
Thanks Gregg ๐
Make sure you take care of yourself. Don’t stress the small stuff and don’t worry about blogging. Can’t wait to see how you decorate the new place! Have a good afternoon Estela.
We’ll be thinking of you through this hectic time!
Movers are the bessssssst! I can’t imagine moving any other way, ESPECIALLY entering into a 3rd trimester!! You’re a saint!
