me time….
Last week Mr. Weekly Bite was off for six whole days! Lucky us 🙂
Mr. Weekly Bite off = Lots of me time!
I had a gift card and a couple of exchanges to make at one of my favorite stores, so I took my self on a little shopping trip.
I hopped in my car, drove into Georgetown, and spent over an hour at Anthropologie. Surprisingly, I didn’t buy any clothes.
I did however enjoy looking at all the new dresses they got in stock!
Here’s the loot I scored…
A necklace to go with a black dress I’m wearing to a cocktail party this weekend…
A couple of vintage-y looking plates to add to my collection…
Love these!
The letter “M”… because its what I call my most favorite person 🙂 {this will go in her room}
Recipe cards I found in the sale section. Because I’m old school and like to write everything down 🙂
And a couple of candles. The blue one in the background is one of my favorites! I’ve mentioned it before here.
And a scary owl candle… because I have an odd obsession of owls, pigs, stars, letters, and numbers. All of my friends will confirm that 😉
Speaking of ‘me time’… Mr. Weekly Bite just put M to bed….
I’m off to light my scary owl candle and enjoy the quietness…

What do you do to enjoy your ‘Me Time?’
During my Me Time, I usually write in my journal, read, paint, or just sit still and enjoy the silence and peace.
Ohhhh, I LOVE those plates! I have such a love for birds!
I don’t even know what me time is anymore. I like your ideas though! I need to find Anthropology and check out the stuff there! Enjoy your peace and quiet.
My “me time” is spent reading my favorite magazines and browsing the internet without everyone wondering what I am looking at!
I loooove anthropology. I loved when I lived in PHX and could go often. Now I live in OH and I don’t think they have one in the whole state! 🙁
i love doing yoga and reading in my me time…but shopping at anthro doesn’t sound too shabby either 😉
Oh, my goodness, I ADORE your purchases.
During my me time, I like to take a walk, write, practice yoga, read blogs, or cook.
Anthropologie + “me time” would be disastrous to my bank account 😉
