Over Consumed…

source

So it turns out this whole ‘selling your house’ thing is a little stressful.

Our house went on the market Thursday afternoon and almost immediately my phone was flooded with realtors wanting to show our home to their clients. It was both exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time. It was so busy that Mr. Weekly Bite & I decided to skip town so M could stay on her schedule.

As far as the house goes, there were lots of first looks, a few came back for a second look, and even a third look… but no bites yet πŸ™ boo…

That’s okay though… the right buyer is still out there πŸ™‚

Wanna know something else that’s challenging? Cooking & Baking for the blog. It’sΒ been a little challenging when you’re trying to keep your kitchen sparkly clean. We’ve eaten out a total of 4 times in four days!

There are several showings scheduled for today so M & I will be out of the house. I’ll keep you posted πŸ™‚

I promise to have lots of yummy recipes soon.

It is very stressful, but it sounds like you’re getting a lot of showings which is wonderful. From what I’ve seen, your house shows very well! So cute and tidy!

You are so very right … selling a home is very stressful. We were lucky … we moved 2 weeks after ours went on the market.

Hang in there! Buyers are just starting to get out there and look. Your home looks really great from all the pics you’ve shared with us.

I’m surprised no one has “bitten” yet. I know I’d want to buy your house if I could- it’s gorgeous, charming, move-in ready while still looking comfortable and home-y. I ADORE your house.
I think the right buyer will come along soon.

I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to “live” in a house while trying to sell it! Good luck, I am sure a great buyer will come soon if your pictures are any representation of your home.

Good luck with all this! I hated always having to keep ship shape and get out of the house at a moment’s notice. Hopefully this process will go smoothly and quickly for you and your family!

It’ll happen! Not to worry. The right person is going to walk into that house and realize how much love it already has, and how much potential for happiness and wonderful memories it will bring. Don’t despair!

We put our house on the market when my son was 12 months old, and it was so stressful trying to keep a house clean with a little one running around. Don’t worry, it will happen quicker than you think. Good luck!
