Fearless Feeding Book Review & Giveaway!!

Fearless Feeding – How To Raise Healthy Eaters From High Chair to High School

I was so excited when I received my copy of Fearless Feeding! This is the book every parent needs. As a Dietitian, I get so many questions from parents about how to get their children to eat better. Fearless Feeding is the book with all the answers. Written by Registered Dietitians Jill Castle & Maryann Jacobsen, Fearless Feeding empowers parents by providing an easy-to-follow Fearless Feeding Strategy they can use at each stage of development. Fearless Feeding not only teach parents what to feed to meet nutritional needs, it shows them how to do it so children develop a healthy relationship with food and what to expect in terms of growth, child development, and eating behavior.

What I loved most about this book is how easy it is to navigate. The book provides tips and facts that give useful details on children and food for each stage of development {infant, toddler, school-age, and teens}.

This book also includes:

  • Cooking tips for busy parents
  • Simple recipes to make at each stage
  • Nutrition advice and feeding strategies for each age & stage
  • Helpful details about growth and child development
  • Sample dialogue to help parents talk about the easy and tough nutrition issues
  • What to do with problematic eating behavior (extreme picky eating, food allergies, weight & behavior issues)

I have already started making some of the recipes and so far my girls love them!! Tonight I am making this yummy chicken tender recipe 🙂

One lucky reader will be receiving a copy of this must read book! All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite go-to family recipe. The winner will be announced on Friday!

Be sure to checkout Fearless Feeding’s Website and Facebook Page for their latest info!

Good luck!

Pork Tenderloin with ginger apricot glaze or breakfast is my go to meal. I really need this book, my boys are 5 and 7 and are so picky, I end up making multiple meals.

My favorite family go-to recipe is chicken tacos. The boys will pile on the veggies and healthy stuff if I put it all out on the table and let them make their own tacos!

Our favorite is taco salad. We make our own seasoning so it has none of the extra preservatives in it and we pile that guacamole on!
