Yesterday was great a day! The weather was beautiful and I spent the day with my two favorite people, M & Mr. Weekly Bite. I couldn’t have asked for a better Mother’s Day.

1) Root Beer Float Fudge

Last weekend I enjoyed a Root Beer Float from our local frozen custard shop. It had been years since I last had an ice cream float. I forgot how much I love root beer. I spotted this fudge and new it was a must try! I can’t wait to make it

2) Hop Scotch Mat

Such a cute idea!! I remember loving hop scotch as a kid. I spotted this hop scotch mat on Etsy and loved it. I’m putting this on the list of things to make for M. I know she’ll love it!

3) Watermelon Cake

How perfect is this for summer?! Its actually an ice cream cake. Perfect for the summer

4) Flip Flop Hanger

The amount of flip flops I have has gotten out of hand. The way our shoe racks are designed makes it impossible to store them anywhere other than the floor. This flip flog hanger is genius! It shows you how to convert a basic wire hanger into a flip flop hanger. I’m excited to try these in our new closets

5) Watermelon Punch & Bowl

Sticking with the watermelon theme, I love this Watermelon Punch & Bowl idea from Martha Stewart. Its the perfect way to use every part of a watermelon.

6) Tiny TOMS

Cute! Cute! Cute! I’m buying these for M in silver. Nobody can stop me

7) Teepee

I mentioned last week about my love for teepees. Here’s another cute one. I love it! At some point in M’s life, she’s getting a teepee in her room

Hi There

How was your weekend? We were busy cleaning out our basement. It’s truly amazing how much junk (other than coffee mugs) that we’ve accumulated.

It’s been ages since I’ve done a 7 Things I’m Loving feature. I’ve discovered so many fun things that I just had to share them with you! I hope you enjoy them!

1) Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites

These are absolute heaven to a pregnant woman. They are a very creative version of a “Buckeye” sandwiched between two salty pretzels, then dipped in chocolate. Yum!

2) Kid’s Room Teepee

I grew up wanting a teepee in my room. I love how cute this looks! Especially in this super cute room!

3) Chocolate & Salted Caramel Pudding Pops

Ohmygosh!!!!!! I spotted these on Endless Simmer and about fell off my chair! How genius is this combination?!?!! I remember living on Jello Pudding Pops when I was little. I can’t wait to make these!!

4) Little Girl’s Mexican Dress

Cutest. Dress. Ever!!! I want/need to get this dress for M!! This would be perfect for San Diego. Her 2nd birthday is coming up… maybe, just maybe, if I talk about this dress every single day, one of her family members will buy it for her

5) Veggie & Dip in Cups

I spotted these on Pinterest and thought they were such a cute idea! Perfect for parties!

6) Strapless ZigZag One Piece Swimsuit

If I didn’t have a baby growing in my belly, I’d be all over this swimsuit. I love the pastel zigzag’s in this old school one piece. This will be on my wish list for next summer

7) Citrus Jello Slices

LOVE this idea! So clever and cute! All you do is scoop out the insides of the citrus fruit, fill it with jello, refrigerate till solid, slice, and enjoy. This could also work with sorbet or citrus flavored ice cream! I’m totally making these this summer.

Hi There

I thought I’d take this time to share a few things I’m loving right now. Here’s my top 7.

1) The Lettered Cottage is one of my favorite decorating blogs! I love every ounce of her style. She does these incredible inspiration drawings. She’s currently redoing their master bedroom. Here’s her inspiration drawing for adding a barn door to her master bath. I love it!

2) I’ve had my eye on this bath robe by Dwell Studios for M. So so cute!

3) Simply Hue Designs. I LOVE her photography! Since I discovered her Etsy Shop, I’ve order 4 of her prints. I love her vintage style photos.

4) Petunia Pickle Bottom. Is it a purse? Is it a backpack? Is it a diaper bag? The answer is yes to all of the above. This diaper bag is on my wish list for when baby #2 arrives.

5)  Egyptian Cotton by Yankee Candle. I’ve expressed my obsession with candles in the past. This one is my latest. My house smells like fresh sheets just came out of the dryer. I love that clean scent

6) I’ve added these name bracelets to my wish list. My friend Jen bought these for herself as a Valentine’s Present. I fell in love with them the minute I saw them. So simple and beautiful. I can’t wait to buy one with M’s name & Baby #2′s name.

7) Hot Tamales. This post wouldn’t be complete without my latest and greatest food craving. Hot Tamales are my all-time favorite candy (Good-n-Plenty come in a close second). I can’t get enough of these chewy cinnamon flavored morsels
